Many board that are coming out are having trouble supporting DDR400. How would it go if i got DDR400 told BIOS it was DDR333 and then O/C the FSB? Will DDR400 Ram work well in DDR333 mode in Bios? is the DDR400 problem with the chipsets? I have a 2.4 P4 and am just nutting things out before i overclock.

Thnaks for the reply other,

I'm waiting for the 845PE/GE. if you go to [url]www.xbitlabs.com they have information on the Asus boards that are coming out shortly after the chipset announcment. it does ddr333 and the P4PE also does serial ATA and gigabit lan (yummy).

I have the A 400FSB P4. Why? I'm not a huge overclocker (yet) and i thought the multipler would give me a higher overall over clock without bumping up the FSB too high so that i would know that the FSB was not the limiting factor just the P4.
