| Giveaway6: ...The Last Stand |
Its time to make a stand and fight for the top spot on the Folding ladder. I present to you Giveaway6 which will hopefully encourage a few more members of the OCAU forums to take up the extreme sport of Folding@Home. Folding is a dangerous sport that many have tried and failed to master, but with perseverance and dedication it can be a rewarding experience. If you feel that Freestyle Folding is cool and you would like to give it a shot, sign up in the nomination thread here in the forums. You will have to execute a few tricks to qualify for the draw, first up you need to download through the fat pipe the required gear to get you on the track. Once you have right equipment check this cool guide for the correct way to get it happening. Once that is all in place its time to show us a few tricks (WARNING!!! you will need to wear all the required protective equipment before commencing, adequate chip coolers and box fans are a definite requirement along with a reliable pipe connection). You will be judged on amplitude (amount of points), endurance and creativity. When it comes to the handing out the trophies, those that have shown enough skill to cut it in this most demanding of sports will be pleased with their rewards. Giveaway6 could be the beginning of a new career for someone and you never know you could become one of the legends of the sport like norgs, plext or DGROMs. Giveaway6 is brought to you by

| Relic Trophy: the struggle continues.... |
After Agg's call to arms on Monday and the magnificent response from the members of OCAU (106 new members and 44 coming out of retirement in 3 days) we have managed to hold the [H]orde at bay for the past 24 hours. The margin is hovering around the 12,000 to 15,000 points mark at the minute. With a continued effort and new members joining us every hour we might just be able to hold the fort intact until our BIG GUNS start to fire in the coming weeks. Well done to everyone and welcome to all those that have joined in the fight to hold on to the Relic trophy.

| OCAU retake top spot: the duck comes back, then leaves again.... |
The ducks trip to the US has been cancelled and he had to turn around at 19:00 hrs WST. The poor bugger is starting to get tired so lets hope he gets to roost somewhere safe overnight. With the ramping that we have done over the past week we should make it very difficult for them to retake the trophy back off us. We have added 154 new members in seven days along with 475 CPU's. That is a tremendous effort by everyone that has responded to the call to arms. But the job is not done yet and its going to take a lot of hard work yet to make the duck unpack his bags and make the trophy cabinet his home once again.
| [H]ardOCP take top spot: the duck goes.... |
At 06:00 WST today the [H]ardOCP team became the No1 Folding team. After a awesome effort of ramping over the past 5 months they have managed to wipe off a 4.4 million point deficit. As is tradition now the "relic trophy" will be passed on to the top team. Well done and congratulations.

for the Giveaway, of those 134 have already reached the 1000
