BEAT the BOX: Update
Thanks goes out to wrbell for covering the cost of postage for FBOX2 and adding a bit extra to the FFF. The box was posted on Tuesday and should be getting close to its destination by now.

There has been some discussion in the BtB thread about tightening up the nomination prerequisites. So from now on you will need a minimum of 1000 points before being eligible to nominate for the Giveaway and the winner must be able to pay for postage. Check out the BEAT the BOX page for the details on the changes.

Just a note about the FBOXes, the total points contribution from all the FBOXes while waiting for distribution to their new owners as passed the 10,000 points mark. That total will increase quite rapidly over the next few weeks with some awesome folding machines due to come online. Still to come we have 4 x XP2400, 1 x XP2100Tbred and 2 x XP1800 and not to forget a little old Duron 1300. The Duron is waiting for a motherboard to call home, if you can help with this or any other items that you have spare post in this thread and let us know.

Less than 1 million to go:
As of this morning the gap to the [H]ardOCP team stands at 970,338 points. We reduced the gap by a record 30,861 points for the day and at the moment we are 39 days away from top spot. Well done team and keep up the great work rate and soon we be the No1 folding team again.

BTW: We passed the 11 million points milestone during the last 24hrs, the last million achieved in 11 days.

BYO1 Draw winner:
I have put all the names from the FFF on a page here and from the usual Sequence Generator page assigned a number to each person. I then used the Random Number Generator to find the winner of BYO1.

Now on with the show...

The winner of the first BYO FBOX is......froop.

Congratulations froop, send me a PM and we can arrange delivery of BYO1

I will draw the other winning numbers for the rest of the BYO FBOXes when I have finished building them. Which should be tomorrow and early Friday. The forum thread is here.

BYO FBOXes: The goodies are here.
All the ingredients to make an awesome FBOX have arrived and over the next day or so I will build them up and get them folding. Then we will have to find a new home for these 3 beauties.

Update: BYO1 is up and folding at 2200Mhz at default voltage.

OCAU in the News
Overclockers Australia Folding team and a couple of its members have been mention in two separate news articles. First The Howard Hughes Medical Institute have written a great article about FAH in which the team gets a mention. Also a news item on the Stanford site congratulates DGROMS.com and plext along with OC-AMD from the 2CPU.com folding team for passing the one million points mark. This news item just happens to have a little picture of DG with a 3 day growth as well...nice one DG.

BEAT the BOX: Round 3
The first update of numbers are up for this round of box beating.
