News will be a bit short today because someone has to go to work earn money to pay the electricity bill. For those running Linux is a 2.19 Beta available
Since yesterday morning we have added 13 more members to the House of Folding and we have also added 4 more Atomicans since the front page item went up welcome all. Well what a surprise was waiting for us this morning with a big points correction for the "A" type proteins. This points correction was most welcome but it also helped but the big [H] a lot closer to our tails. The numbers in the Stats Bar will slowly correct themselves over the next 7 days and hopefully we will have a bit longer to hold off the [H]. |

Lucus Maximus has got more of his schools computers folding today so that brings his contribution to Overclockers Australia to 22.6Ghz of Folding power shared between himself and Canberra College that should give us a bit of a boost. Speaking of GHz the Overclockers Australia Boxen Database has past through the 1000GHz mark with 220 entries and folding has 761 of those. I am quite sure a lot of you out there who are folding for us haven't submitted an entry yet, so go do it now while you have fresh on your mind, go on it doesn't hurt a bit. Our membership continues to rise at a great rate and we have just notched up our 852nd member. Toca, c0rr, Tao, SlyFox, Cape Horn and 500Nm all have joined our team in the last few updates. Welcome to you all and enjoy your stay. I sent off an email message yesterday to the Atomic site asking if it would be possible for them to give us some exposure in their news section and this is what we got this morning. Thanks guys your help is very much appreciated. Here is a list of the Atomicans already folding for us which I hope will grow much bigger soon.
Amran has set up a page with the Fastest Folding Machine list, which will be kept more up todate than the complete list I have. The top 10 will stay and will be updated daily. Thanks Amran. A big jump in stats numbers yesterday for us and the [H] team to, which was a result of server 111 coming back online. Our lose for the day was 401 points which means that our lead is down to 4,335 points and at 400 a day we have 11 days left as No1. |

I have added a Join Us page and a button in the header banner above. This should make it a bit easier for everyone to get started with Folding. If you are looking for the URL to the service guide for NT/2000/XP and 95/98/ME they have changed to http://www.overclockers.com.au/folding/service-nt2000xp.htm and http://www.overclockers.com.au/folding/service98.htm. I thought I would tidy up their names a bit, sorry for the inconvenience if you have linked to them. I have added a Top 20 to the Stats Bar above and is updated at 7am WST like the other stats. Looks like the [H]orde have taken a big bite into our lead in the past 24hrs, 433 points to be exact. So that means we are in danger territory again if that happens again today. I'm sure that things will pick up on our side today with server 111 coming back online this morning and a few more boxen being added this week from a couple of members with a farm at their disposal. So lets hang in there and fight back. |

A bit of news further down the team ladder Rage3D our old adversaries from version 1 have just slipped past the Mad Onions for 7th place. How the mighty have fallen when you look at what teams dominated the previous versions, though some are still contributing a fair amount to version 1. Ars Technica are a shadow of their former self and are about to fade away, nerdz have disappeared, AthlonOC are in disarray and don't know what to call themselves. The Onions, Helix and SAGoons are there but not doing any thing extraordinary. Now look at the [H] team who ruled the world at Folding 1 are playing catch up the upstarts from Australia, who don't know how to give in without fight. So lets Fold on and stay No1 and give the other teams something to chase. "We are going to have No1 even if we have to fight for it. What counts is not necessarily the size of the Folders in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the Folder." Dwight D. Eisenhower
I have created a new thread in the Forums call The Ultimate Folding@Home Guide which contains all of the essential bits and pieces you need to start folding. The Dirty Dozen have landed, otherwise known has SlackNet are 12 strong now with the signing up of Overload to the team. They have already conquered the 250 Club and are up to position 93 on the hit parade well done guys. The stats are down a little from yesterday mainly due to server 111 not accepting back the ABeta17-42 proteins, hang on to them and they should upload when the server comes back online. We are still losing ground to the [H] team but at a rate that should see us in front for another 6 to 7 weeks if things don't change, has we know they quite often do change so lets hope its for the better not worse. |

On to the subject of page hits, we are averaging over 360 hits a day with a week total of 2558 hits. I present for your Sunday evening reading pleasure the Top 10 Folding movies. Canberra College have just hit the stats in a big way with a 42 point drop in the last 2 Statsman's updates, well done Lucus Maximus. He has also promised to get the other computers there folding by Wednesday. Looks like a FreeBSD is in the pipeline and a beta is almost ready for release.
After a week of bombarding the Stanford Yahoo news groups Vijay has
finally given in and is going to rebenchmark the proteinA's, thank
you very much. I truly hope this brings about an increase in the
points value. ok, I've asked
Bojan to rebench one more time, this time on an Athlon as well.
He'll likely have results by Monday or so. We could also increase the timeouts. I'm gone
until Monday, so don't expect any "official" response until I get to
talk to him on Tuesday. Vijay Also another response from Stanford regarding the
machines they have been using to benchmark their proteins, all along
they have been referring to a P2 400 then it turned into a Celeron
400 now it seems that its been a Celeron 500 in disguise. "Michael from F@H... here, One important point that should clear some
things up. We have been benchmarking on the SAME machines
since F@H... started. Those machines are Celeron 500's. Some of the
people in the lab (including myself) thought they were Celeron
400's, which is not the case - we rechecked last week when
recalibrating the protein A subunit. All the benchmarking machines
are 500's, and always have been. It's a slow machine nowadays, true
- but it's how we've been benchmarking things from the beginning,
and we are trying to be consistent. The entire lab spent Thursday and Friday at a
conference in San Francisco and have been very busy (I personally
only got 4 hours of sleep over two nights as I was preparing
research from F@H... to present at the conference), so we haven't
been able to check the list very much - that is part of the reason
there hasn't been many posting by us." Cheers, Michael Shirts The Fastest Folding Machine competition is heating up again with Bravo pushing his XP up to 1920Mhz at 2.2v, so look out wing here he comes. "1920 is now stable at 2.2v.The capacitors next to the voltage IC were heating up quite a bit. I've solved it by opening a window, and positioning the radiator fan next to the case.... Wing, your in my spot again: Bravo" We have our first
international entry in the competition and its from
res0r9lm who is from
the oc.com team, he slips into 9th place with his TBird@1600Mhz
If your name is missing from a Milestone club or Folding Club don't be afraid to let me know as some of you already have do so. Nothing to spectacular with the stats yesterday our loss wasn't has great only 229 points verses over 300 points from the day before. Membership received a big boost yesterday with 9 troops enlisting with the folding army, welcome to the team. |

Deadman Inc. has a thread going in the Forums for the Access Centre's and he is keeping a few stats, just to get a bit of rivalry going between the different centre's. Here is a chart he has drawn up and it looks like a substantial lead to Spring Bay and a tight race for second between Queenstown and Richmond.
Another dedication today and this was nominated by Kaliban to Amran for managing the Fastest Folding lists and taking friendly team based competition to a second level. Amran has invited other folding teams to participate in our Fastest Folding Machine competition.
The Top 20 and Team Daily stats have been updated. Yesterdays production dropped of a bit from the day before mainly due to the big WU's I suspect. Even so [H] put on a spurt and out produced us by over 300 points which put a big dent in our lead. The extended WU's seem to have come to a halt and we have returned to our usual processor friendly types which is good to see, so lets hope we can put in some big numbers today. |

If you remember I told you guys about the AthlonOC team changed names to Liquid Overclock. Now they have changed names again because of internal fighting between two groups and who the name represents, anyway their new name is OverClockers Anonymous and they reside here. I have added a Folding Dedication Hall of Fame to house all our recipients. The Protein Page has been updated to. Amran has issued a challenge to other teams to enter our Fastest Folding Machine competition. The [H]'s and overclockers.com have been invited so far. While we are on the subject, since Creative knocked Bravo's and wing's times down a notch those two drag strip protagonists have upped the ante and here is wings reply with his XP at 1836Mhz. Frame Time : 3.36 min. ( 202
sec. ) But wait there's more Bravo is going for broke with his machine running at 1851Mhz and 200secs a frame but the WU isn't finished yet so stay tuned. The SETI charge continues with eleven members now saddled up with the SlackNet team. You guys are sure galloping up the charts with all that horsepower. it looks like you are champing at the bit to get your head in the 250 Club nose bag. SlackNet[1] SeaHawk
The next recipient is the person who has been folding the longest of anybody in our team. He is the founding member of the team and it is he who is responsible for what we are today. For without him we wouldn't be the world leading team in Folding@Home 2. Congratulations Lombers we thank you immensely.
One of Stromlo High's ex pupils Lucus Maximus has moved onto Canberra College and has taken his folding enthusiasm with him and it has spread to this school as well. "Canberra College is running 2.17console on 20 Celeron 500's and should have some WU's returned by the end of the day! I'll also be putting it on about 60 machine at about 200MHz each." But Lucus isnt content with just one school he is still guiding Stromlo along with their folding as well. "I'm going over to Stromlo now to fix any problems over there." So for this outstanding dedication to our folding effort i am pleased to present to Lucus Maximus the Overclockers Australia Dedication Award.
I have updated the Milestone Club. The new proteins proteinAg29aNat, proteinAnat, proteinAg29a fit into these projects Project 111, 112, 113, 114, they have a time limit of 9 days and are worth 3 points. The debate is ongoing over at Stanford about how many points they are worth, they seem to think 3 points is a fair return for the amount of time it takes to crunch them. So if you disagree with that head over here and let them know what you think. Even though we increased our production yesterday we were out produced by the [H]'s. They had a good days output and jumped over 250 points above their previous days numbers. Unless the [H] team get back to their previous form we don't have much to worry about in the short term regarding our No1 position. Membership and activity continues to rise so things are looking good as we are constantly attracting new members to the Worlds No1 Folding Team.. |

Another good days production despite the proteinAg29a proteins that are slowing down everyone's production rate. The lines on Statsman don't intersect on the graph any more and by my calculations they don't meet until May 2nd. Our participation rate has climbed again up to 382 from 824 members which is another good effort, so now we have 37 more active members than our nearest rival. |
|
Wednesday 20/02/02 |
|
Welcome to all the new members in the last 24Hrs and welcome back to all the non-active members who have returned to the Fold, I counted 12 reactivated accounts for the last 24Hrs which has boosted our active members to 377 which is a record by my reckoning. What a day we had yesterday we out produced the [H] team by 128 points which is a brilliant result, we last did this in early January some time so well done to all. If we keep this up we will have the "blue" line on Statsman's page and that means we have out produced [H] for the week and the lines wont intersect anymore. Then it will be time to send the turkey over to our friends, the axe is sharp and is ready to fall. |

We have just past the 1000 processor mark in the stats. What this means is how many different userid's have contributed to our stats in the last week. As we all know some of us are using more than one install on the same machine and also some of us could have got new userids for different reasons. Never the less its an indicator of how healthy we are and at the moment we are stronger than Arnold Sfartzenagger's big brother. News Flash: We have just out produced the [H] team for last 24Hrs,this the first time since I cant remember, well done guys all the hard work is paying off. Hello to you VooDoo welcome back we hope this stay is less eventful that the last one. Another interesting thing when looking through the logs is that since last night when a WU is finished the core_65 is auto updating its self to version 2.41 since I haven't got around to updating them my self, this isn't the same has the mega download bug we had a few weeks ago. Here is a snip from my FAHlog so if you see this it looks like its a new feature Stanford have implemented into the servers and I guess they are making sure everybody has the new core_65 and we don't have a repeat of the recent dreadful mega core download, hey VooDoo. Proj: work/wudata_08 + 328837 bytes downloaded Looks like Stanford sent out a new protein last night called proteinAg29aNat but the strange thing is that on two different machines its called by different names. My other machine with this protein on its called proteinAnat. Away besides the naming of it this big SOB is taking twice as long to crunch so maybe this is our first 5 pointer. My celeron@560 just got one of these and it is taking over 41mins a frame and will be finished on Friday morning (69hrs) phew. Our current top performer BSS is also leading the rest of the folding world with 1551 points for the week and averaging over 250 for each day. That's if you discount the noname and anonymous folders. SlackNet have added another 2 SETI members to the
fold, a big welcome goes out to
SlackNet[7] vespamad and SlackNet[8] RobsGT4. They also
have reached the 50 Club and of
course the 50 Milestone Club,
well done guys. I have stopped doing the chart for the last seven days production if you want it back let me know. What a great days production we had yesterday again, we didn't quite beat the [H]'s but we came close with only 42 points between us. What that means is we push out the change over date another 7 days and we get to the 200,000 milestone first on the 11th of March if things stay the same, no doubt they wont because we have the momentum and things can only get better. |

Its time to try out the new design. I have added a few new features like the stats bar above gives a daily update for the different areas. If you are looking for Statsman this is his temporary URL till his normal ISP gets sorted out http://galileo.spaceports.com/~statsman/ We now have a bunch of SETI folk folding under the SlackNet name, they are helping us out for a while till we see off those pesky [H] ducklings. These are the members contributing so far. SlackNet[1] SeaHawk
Ridgley Online have joined the other Online Access Centre 's to make a total of six now folding for us, well done. We are on target for a [H] beating daily score in the next few updates, at the last Statsman update we were only 41 points behind for the day so all the hard work is paying off and if this keeps up we wont be relinquishing the title of the "Worlds Best folding Team" or even the "Worlds Biggest Folding Team".

Team Weekly stats have been updated for the week and the Milestone Club has been update too. Today we reached 800 members so that's worth a screeny. Especially since now we have the most members of any Folding@Home team. With the new beta client console version it is better to do a completely new install instead of just replacing the exe. It probably wont pick up where the work unit left off. Delete every thing except your client.cfg in your Folding@Home directory, place the beta 2.19 in the directory and run it. Version 2.19 (WinClient & Win Console) are now
both up for beta testing at

News update: Beta client 2.19 is out, I know quite a few of us are eagerly awaiting this release so lets hope it lives up to our expectations. I have updated the Top 20, Team Daily Stats and Page hits. The Folding Club is on hold till Statsman is back up. I haven't been using Dens stats because sometimes he misses an update so his weekly total will be out a bit. If Statsman is not back up soon and Den shows a solid weekly chart I will start using his numbers.
What a great days production from us and a bad day for [H], we pushed out the expected changeover date by over 2 days. We only lost 178 points today which is a big improvement on the last few weeks. Keep it up guys and a special thanks to our acronym at the top well done on your last couple days production its helped a lot.

I have been messing around with a new Main page for this site. Its here Test.htm give it a click and see what you think and let me know in the Forums. Opera and Netscape look ok from my end, its still work in progress though and i've got to try and keep the overclockers.com.au theme going to some degree. We had a good day yesterday with 1561 points production and [H] had a bad day with 1962 points produced, what this means is we pushed out the expected changeover by 25hrs. If we keep growing at the same rate we just may have a chance of holding them off. Membership rose to 793 yesterday an increase of 7 and only 4 behind the [H] team and for what its worth our active processors are equal which has never happened before. So lets keep up the good work and we will maintain our Worlds No1 Status. |

I have added a Milestone Club page today, so if you are in a Milestone Club add a line to your Forum signature like this Folding@Home 50 Points Milestone. Folding Club news today sees the 50 Club ranks increase due to Hollywood being nominated and accepted by the Academy, congrats and well done.

If you are looking through the folding team names and come across Liquid Overclock and think to yourself that you have never heard of them you would be correct. It seems that athlonoc.com and forumoc.com went under and the existing members have decided to carry on folding under a different banner. This is there website. To give a bit of exposure to our southern folding friends in Tasmania who run the Tasmania Online Access Centres here is a list of Access Centres contributing to the Overclockers Australia folding team. So if you are heading that way for a holiday call in and say hello or go visit there web sites. Here is a map of their location.
Also today I have found another deserved soul who puts up with many things that most wouldn't tolerate to continue his dedication to the Folding cause. These awards aren't given out lightly and I know that I personally wouldn't put up with a delta screaming in my house never mind my bedroom. So today I have great pleasure in announcing that chestRcopRpot has been awarded the OCAU Dedication Award.
ZeonX one of our really gifted members has devised a fold monitor program and would like us to give it a name. He has started a poll in the forums with names suggested by us, so go and help choose one. I think another dedication award is necessary, but instead of one, this time 2 awards go out to wing and Bravo for oneupmanship at its best regarding who can build the fastest machine and produce the Fastest Folding time. They are pushing those CPU's to the max in the name of Folding well done guys its an interesting race.

Folding Club news today sees the 50 Club ranks increase due to Baker gaining the required entry permit, congrats and well done. |
11/02/02: Now for something completely different, Bravo has posted this screenshot of his XP running at 1809Mhz which should make it the Fastest Folding Machine. As we all know P4's don't cut the mustard in folding and 2.2GHz wouldn't come near this beast in folding output. So if anyone can beat this send in a screeny to this thread and make Bravos' day.
Folding Club news so far today sees BlackPantha leap into the 50 Club and scare everyone in there sort like the schweppes ad on TV, well done.
Update: Concerning the previous post that was there earlier, I have just checked the other stats sites and they don't seem to correlate with what Statsman is telling us. I think its a Statsman glitch. They seem to have been around for a while and aren't new recruits with mega boxen.
A little update on what will be incorporated in the next client release 2.18, which is almost here.
Michael from F@H... here,
So, some people behind firewalls/proxies have to manually resend units,
which
is very bad, and in an ideal world should be completely unnecessary. The
point
of F@H... should be that it's something that you never think about except
when you
look at the pictures or check stats or hopefully read about the project
and
research and learn something about science.
The problems seem to stem with 1) a bug in the proxy processing, which was
fixed in the 2.17 beta, and 2) a timeout error in the interaction between
the
server and the client, which is being fixed in the 2.18 beta, being
finished up
now. Hopefully that will solve the problems. Some people require a
username and
password to connect through the proxy - that is being added, and should be
in
the 2.18 beta.
Thanks,
Michael Shirts

We have had some more front page exposure relating to the updated Folding link and our No1 status. So if you want us to stay No1 you know what to do , as Agg said "now's the time".
The Forums logo has been updated and our resident artist Darkness was chosen yet again to have his art work on display, well done.
A bit of a drop in production yesterday due to Telstra having a few problems which in turn caused quite a few members not be able to return and receive work. Hopefully everything should be back on track today.
10/02/02: I have been doing a bit of a search around the internet and found a few quotes by famous people about folding. You will be surprised by what I found and how wide spread and popular this Folding business is.
Just a few facts from Bollock's Book of Folding Facts. We have been folding for 115 days since version 2 started. We have averaged 1368 points every days since. It took 11 days to reach No1 on October 29th 2001, 104 days ago. We have at last update 766 members and 349 active in version 1 we only reached 280 members and a maximum of 139 active . Our current total points in version 2 is only 29,000 behind version 1 and we should past that total in about 3 weeks.
I have updated the Team Weekly Stats. Our production went up slightly this week, about 400 points and the [H] mob went down about 400 points, which is a step in the right direction so lets hope we can continue to improve on this.
09/02/02: Club news update with Kildare joining xtreme2k today in the ever popular 50 Club, congrats go out to you Kildare. Update: MarpNarra has just cracked it for the 50 Club last update so that makes another well done to you to.
Kaliban has come up with an award for dedication to the Folding cause and the first one was presented to Leachy. For Folding in conditions that a mere mortal could not tolerate, tongue in cheek I think but I think its a great idea.

Club news sees xtreme2k take up a position in the 50 Club. Looks like we will have to build a bigger Club soon with 51 members up to date.
An earlier update today and a few page updates which include the Top 20 and the Team Daily Stats.
08/02/02: In the last 24hrs we have had two more Access centres sign up and they are Latrobe Online and Bridgewater Brighton Online Centre 2. Welcome to the team and if you follow Spring Bays lead you will be doing ok and so will the team.
07/02/02: Looks like Agg has got the stats working and should update every 3 hours from now on.
Sorry about the late update but work was on the agenda today. More news to follow. I added a predicted time to the proposed relinquishment of No1 position in W.A. time.
06/02/02: If you have a MAC or two lying around there is now a Folding@Home OSX beta to try out on it.
OK, this is a _BETA_, that means dont install it
anywhere you can't easily
remove it.
GUI -
http://www.mithral.com/~beberg/Folding@h...
install = unzip (stuffit will work) and click.
uninstall = delete the app and ~/Library/Folding@h.../
Feel free to click & drag. Command-D and command-S are all you need. And
no,
the GUI doesnt take any CPU if it's minimized (or if you never hit
command-D). I know about the missing name in the doc menu, dunno why tho...
everything else should work.
Command line -
http://www.mithral.com/~beberg/fah2-osx.gz
install = `gzip -d fah2-osx.gz` in a directory.
uninstall = kill the process and delete the dir
Any comments about the OSX GUI should come to _me_ directly. Please put
"OSX" in the subject. I will be reading the emails, but don't expect a
response, I expect to get swamped. I plan to publish the Cocoa code soon,
so
dont ask :)

Some good news regarding Stromlo, they will be back to full strength and folding like mad in a few days. Which is just in the nick of time since we under the influence of cyclone [H] hopefully they will be downgraded to a rain bearing depression before to long.
Updating Club news again today sees snaggs joining the 50 Club, which is good since the guys in there were itching for a BBQ.
We are 750 members strong today and the lucky 750th is Magster. It has only taken 32 days to reach 750 members from 500 members. With Shevek, bjcohn, Lord Teaspoon [Atomic], Valkarie and Uther joining straight afterwards, Welcome to the team guys.

Just a small observation about the [H] team
and our team membership.
After the [H] mob had a
rush of new folders over the past couple of weeks they seem to be on the
decline with active members and processors. The [H] team peaked at 407
active members a few days ago and are down to 389 today. We have reached
354 today and still rising. The Stanford stats active processors had the
[H] team at over 900 for the past week and today are 878 we are increasing
and are up to 833 active processors. So if this trend continues we may be
able to slow down the advances of the lumbering elephant. As you can see
in the figures below we have pushed out the change over points by 157 in
just the last 24hrs. Lets not given in we are still over 12,000 points in
front and that's a lot to make up if we continue the push.
Club news and Decromin has slipped into the rowdys overnight and is having a few quiet ones. Well done in obtaining the keys to the 50 Club Decromin.
Looks like the stats window isn't updating looks like a bit more work to do.

05/02/02: I have updated the Fastest Folding Machine page to included the new GNRA Hairpin proteins that Amran is collecting times for. So don't forget to send those times in here.
Do you like the stats window above? It should update every 3 hours at 30 mins past the hour just like the real one. Thanks to Den and Agg for setting it up. Thanks to Kaliban for reminding me about our Team Rank above we really are in 1st position still, the noname folders are grouped together to form a team and are theoretically in the lead. But we all know who is leading the folding world don't we.
Overclockers Australia have just reached the 150,000 milestone in points production. Well done to all involved in getting us there.
News from the Forums on ZeonX and the Folding@Home monitor he is working on. It is in beta testing ATM, but he is looking for a name to call his new program so drop in to the forums and give him a few suggestions in this thread.
To answer a couple of questions today.
Q: How much bandwidth does Folding@Home use?
A: Approx 300 to 400 kb per WU.

Folding Club news first up and it gives me great pleasure to announce that wing889 has made it into the 250 Club, he has been trying so hard for so long and he has finally made it. Well done wing on joining the elite in the 250 Club. Not to be out done SirWik slipped into the rowdys (50 Club) overnight as well, I think they make so much noise in there that everybody wants in and there's nothing wrong with that, hey. Another well done to you to SirWik.
Update: Doc has slipped into the 50 Club today as well, for a quick drink before he makes a dash to the 100 Club.

03/02/02: Looks like the last page update didn't upload properly and only a bit of the page displayed, my apologies.
Folding Club news see Palp joining the 50 Club ranks.
The Team Weekly Stats have been updated and we have fallen again this week in production by over 14%, production went from 10,879 to 9,303 a drop of 1,576 points, even though our membership rose by 32. The drop as seen yesterday was accounted for in the Top 20 producers so lets hope we can reverse this trend next week and keep our heads above the rising tide.

01/02/02: A new month and a new News page to fill in.
News from Stanford to start off today's edition regarding the forth coming client release 2.18 and general Folding news.
Siraj has made updates to the client which he is beta testing and
we've made server mods, which we've tested on particular servers.
We'll be releasing the new client version soon (~ 1 week) and updating
the servers around the same timescale.
and another snippet
Just
a FYI for those that are interested, we had another big, whole
team meeting to assess where we are, what the critical bugs are, which
ones we'll go after first, and how we plan to do it.
I think we have a good plan. In general, 2.x has smoothed out quite a
bit (esp from 2.0), but there are still things we want to nail. Most
significantly, firewall and modem aspects. However, in general,
things are going well, esp scienfitically.
More later. Siraj expects to have 2.18 out soon. We've been testing
intermediate versions internally and 2.18 has a lot of fixes over
2.15.
and yet another
Apple's
been helping us and they'd like it out ASAP too -- so
would we.
We still have to fix this endian issue, but Adam & Siraj think they've
got it now. Also, they are trying to fix some larger issues in OS X
which would be useful for other ports (such as Solaris & IRIX).
Folding Club
news today sees SPG260 has been enlisted to add to the noise in the rowdys
bar, that is the 50 Club. Well done
and have a drink on us.
This is a little explanation about the noname protein we had a few days ago.
This
is actually the RNA tetraloop hairpin you're running (Project
302). It simply needs a name, which will be taken care of asap.
This doesn't affect the calculations you're running or the value of
the data you're sending in...thanks for pointing out this minor error.
Looks like undertaker-tas has recruited another online Access Centre to the Fold, this time its Queenstown online. Welcome to you and all the other new members to the Overclockers Australia Folding Team.
