SMP
client: now beta testing... |

News from Stanford...
We are now testing the SMP client
with Folding@Home beta testers (beta testers can find more
information in the beta testing forum). The SMP client supports OSX/Intel natively (which means a major points boost for OSX
donors) as well as 64-bit linux (with 32-bit linux hopefully to
come soon). Windows support will come much later, as this is a
very different architecture for porting than OSX & Linux
and some GPU news

2006. Subteams will have the 2500 points multiplied by the number
of team members entered.
The winner will be picked by random draw using
this random number generator. Anyone can enter the draw
new members are most well. Existing active members will get one
extra number in the draw.
The winners of the FBOXes must agree to pay for postage and pledge
to run the machines 24/7.
If you weren't
active during the last week of the October Giveaway you were
removed from the nomination list. You may nominate again but you
wont receive the "active" bonus number in the draw. The names
listed in the thread are already nominated for the Giveaway.
