There's a JBHifi Voucher Facebook Hoax doing the rounds. If you take a laissez-faire attitude to your privacy and clicked on the event, you’ll probably need to resecure your Facebook account, before the scammers can harvest too much information. Scamwatch has a couple of links on how to do that, as well as some good ideas to keep in mind the next time you think a major corporation is going to give you lots of stuff for nothing on social networks.
Lemming sent in some robot combat footage from the recent Robot Wars Nationals. For those who missed it, here are the videos of the fights on the weekend. More will be added as they are uploaded.
For something a little different, here's some amazing library buildings from around the world. Doesn't seem to have that big curved wall of books I've seen in other photos, though. We’ve tried to balance our list between architecturally interesting libraries and libraries with interesting collections, but most of these libraries are actually fascinating in both respects. We’d love to spend a day in any of these libraries, and we hope you’ll agree.
There's a 12 Days of Xmas Folding Challenge going on in the Team OCAU forum. Hopefully this months prizes (whilst slightly different in nature) will address some of our issues and spread the Christmas cheer amongst the die hard folding summer sadists.
