The Pirate Bay's documentary TPB: Away From Keyboard is now available to download and view. You can donate, or pay to watch it if you like, or you can watch it on YouTube. ArsTechnica have some thoughts on it here. The non-narrated, largely Swedish-language film profiles the three co-founders during their prosecution by the Swedish government and doesn’t address—other than through filmed court testimony—the fourth co-defendant, businessman Carl Lundström. Also worth being aware of: another emergency Flash update. While Flash versions for OS X and Windows are the only ones reported to be under attack, Thursday's unscheduled release is available for Linux and Android devices as well. Users of all affected operating systems should install the update as soon as possible.

Unsurprisingly the response to Telstra's planned P2P throttling trial has been negative, with coverage here, here, here, here and here, thanks Timbot. David Thodey, CEO at Telstra, has downplayed the peer-to-peer throttling trial at a media conference following the release of Telstra’s half-year financial results. “It’s been a little bit over-hyped because we’re really only just looking at how we can manage the traffic on the network better,” Thodey said. “There really isn’t anything heinous here at all.”
