3D printing is really fascinating me lately, although I haven't yet made the plunge to get a printer of my own. Still, this project from cokeeffekt caught my eye because he's printing his own drive cages, and I don't remember seeing 3d printing featuring in a mod this much before:

When I do get a printer of my own, one of the first things I'll print out is a set of stronger steering arms for my RC car to stop it breaking them all the time. What other not-quite-as-you-want bits in your life would you change if you had a 3d printer?
