The inquirer is reporting that DDR Memory prices are to move upwards as a result of more demand. The major manufacturers have somehow managed to engineer a situation where even though they knew many months ago that DDR parts will be popular because of Intel's push into that marketplace, they haven't sufficient supplies to meet demand. Go Figure!

eWEEK is reporting that IBM is Betting $10 Billion on 'On-Demand' Computing, that is according to IBM CEO Sam Palmisano in a presentation last week. The "On-Demand" concept as an IT infrastructure allows an organization to be responsive, variable, focused and resilient.

Wired News is reporting that the Microsoft Vs. Justice Department could be over or very close to over. Giving that no-one appeals. Microsoft’s stock surged 6% with company officials applauding the ruling in a statement. While some would say this was only a slap on the wrist for the company. More info on wired.com.

Tom's Hardware Guide has an interesting article on the Focus on Online Gaming. With the likes of Microsoft shifting toward voice commands, EA putting the Sims Online and with Sony and LucasArts reporting that Starwars Galaxies had over 100,000 subscribers _just_ for the beta alone.
