Microsoft have a new fancy keyboard, which looks a bit odd. Microsoft says the keyboard was codenamed Manta Ray, because it apparently looks like a Manta Ray. I think it should have been codenamed Madonna, because it looks like her front teeth. More here.

The Feds have officially taken an interest in Bitcoin. The department is starting out by subpoenaing 22 digital-currency companies and investors to get a lay of the Bitcoin land. Microsoft's Surface woes continue, with a class-action lawsuit by investors who felt the financial reporting was inaccurate. The lawsuit states that the plaintiffs, being anyone who bought Microsoft stock between April 18, when it announced via an earnings press release that the Surface was bringing it double-digit revenue, to July 18, when the house of cards collapsed and Microsoft was forced to take a $900 million write down owing to the device’s failures, unjustly lost money when Microsoft’s stock took a dive owing to the failings of Surface.

Gizmodo are reporting on some heat-reducing features of the Xbox One, but it's all pretty standard stuff from the perspective of a PC user. With the architecture of the Xbox One, is that we can dial back the power of the box considerably. We had a little less flexibility with the 360. And so basically, if we couldn’t dissipate the heat, there wasn’t a whole lot of leverage we could pull to keep the heat from being generated, so we had a limited amount of time before it just shut down. Xbox One can actually dial it back to a lower power state, so low in fact that it can in a mode that uses virtually no air flow. But if it stops them dying.. good.

Dr Who fans will enjoy this Street View Easter Egg. :)
