Ouch - a UK man has thrown out a hard drive, forgetting it had 7,500 bitcoins on it. Buried somewhere under four feet of mud and rubbish, in the Docksway landfill site near Newport, Wales, in a space about the size of a football pitch is a computer hard drive worth more than £4m. Some spacey stuff from BlueRaven: Awesome photo of supernova cloud and high-emission "star factory" nebula in the same shot of the Large Magellanic Cloud. Also some cool timewasters in the form of interactive solar system and comet ISON trajectory models. Lots of options to play with. Nice music too. Links posted in the General Astronomy/Space thread.
