NASA Orion Launch (20 Comments) (link)
 Thursday, 4-December-2014  23:54:20 (GMT +10) - by Agg

NASA are hopefully launching their Orion spacecraft in a few minutes. NASA's new Orion spacecraft is set for its first launch this morning from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Launch is now scheduled for 7:55 a.m. EST. The un-crewed Orion will orbit 3,600 miles above Earth before splashing down in the Pacific. Orion is being designed to carry astronauts on exploration missions into deep space, including a trip to an asteroid and eventually to Mars.

Follow the launch on their video stream and the Orion blog.
