Jab noted that Catalyst 3.2 drivers are available for ATI cards now.. a list of what they update and fix is here. Some discussion here in our Video Cards forum.
On the mobile graphics front: Tech-Report check out ATI's Mobility Radeon 9600, while HotHardware previewed NVIDIA's GeForce FX Go GPUs. Bjorn3D preview the NVIDIA offering also.
NVIDIA say there's plenty of GF FX chips to go around.

JimX spotted this artificial brain article on NewScientist. Well, part of the brain. This is pretty big news! The world's first brain prosthesis - an artificial hippocampus - is about to be tested in California. Unlike devices like cochlear implants, which merely stimulate brain activity, this silicon chip implant will perform the same processes as the damaged part of the brain it is replacing.
