ABIT's MAX3 and Tyan's Opteron board (14 Comments) (link)

ABIT have been hinting about their MAX3 motherboard for a while, and here it is:

The full name is IC7-MAX3 and as you can see it has forced cooling over the voltage regulators. There's some other interesting features on this motherboard including something they call SecureIDE: ABIT’s SecureIDE will keep government supercomputers busy for weeks and will keep the RIAA away from your Kazaa files. Tyan have some big news today too, with their single Opteron board, Tomcat K8S S2850, which is the world first available Opteron board in ATX form factor.
