Michael sends word that there is a cool Matrix rip-off film up.. but at 49 mins long, it's a lot bigger than my 56k modem can handle, I'll bet.

Manaz put up a interesting post in the forums - his thoughts on in-case airflow.. an interesting read which has sparked some discussion..

Speaking of which, I just noticed there are 1110 registered members in the forums now.. wow! :)

Wondering which VIA-based motherboard to get? Let these guys point you in the right direction.

Sniper650 pointed out a monster-heatsinked Athlon 750 at 1.1GHz on VRZone..

On MadOnion.com, they have a list of the Fastest Webmasters in the default 3DMark2000 benchmark.. the top score is currently 6300 ish, I submitted my 6771 score last night, we'll see how long it takes them to update me into the #1 position.. and how long I stay there. :)

How cool, a digital wallet.. expensive to leave in your back pocket, tho..

Ducted house airconditioner bringing an Athlon 950 to 1.2GHz.. nice one. Now, stay focussed on the PC, ignore any other distractions on the page. :) Thanks Andrew M..

Serious fan overkill on NetKills.org - definitely a contestant in the "swiss cheese case" stakes..

CPU-Burn have a review of the Alpha PEP-66T up, an FC-PGA cooler, kinda side-mounted for slocketed chips.

TE have a surround-sound speaker roundup up..

TweakTown managed to get their K7V up to 124MHz FSB.. I managed to get the K7V I reviewed to boot at 124MHz exactly ONCE using the dipswitches, but it never worked at anything over 107MHz after that.. very odd.

USB seems to be the perfect solution for laptop peripherals, no more proprietary garbage, being charged $500 for a floppy drive because you can only buy original equipment. Saw a ThinkPad with a USB floppy at work the other day, neato. TekFront have a review of a USB CD-RW, which is cool indeed..

By popular demand, Intel have dropped the 800MHz Xeon.. the big server companies told them they wouldn't buy it, they're waiting for the 900MHz part. Fair enough.

Ooh, IPv6 is finally being trialled..

FryingSpuds have a thing on how display adapters work..

Far out, lots of news tonight, more in a bit..
