Aaargh, domain registration can be a nightmare sometimes.. really, you seem to send off endless emails only to get back to where you started. Still, I'm making some progress. Hope to have the site moved over to the new box really soon.. then the rest of the site will be as fast as the forums! ..and, I can post all these articles I have queued up waiting for somewhere to live..

Cool, Morgan has found a copy of the Win2K source code and posted it here in the forums.. reading through that explains a lot about how Win2K works. :)

EasyOC have a guide to lapping video chips up.. (click the link on that page to get to it, bloody frames!)

Sniper points out that on this page there's a link to some Intel price drops, but I find it much more interesting that they refer to the P3 as a "slut one" processor. Well, my P3 has certainly seen a lot of action..

DrTom has info on changing the multiplier on SocketA cpu's (T-bird, Duron) via the surface-mounted copper "bridges" on the top face of the CPU.. hmm! Does this lend itself to some kind of clip-on GFD device? If it does, it means you can change the multiplier/voltage on any socketA mobo, like a GFD lets you do it on any SlotA.. (this is a Good Thing) ..thanks Morgan!

SiliconAngel sent word that DrTom also has a GeForce2 head-to-head, new cards from Gainforce and Absolute Multimedia..

PCWorldAU have put up their take on Intel's recent benchmarks showing that RAMBUS runs like a 3-legged dog with a broken leg.. thanks Leith.

TweakTown have more info on the FSB settings on the K7V. This stuff was sent to me shortly after my own K7V review, but I could NOT make it happen on the review board.

TE have reviewed the Tornado 2000 case, lotsa fans (derr).

TweakMeister, another new site on the scene, have a networking article up..

Want a Dremel? Don't have the cash? Go win one on IPKonfig! It's the woosy cordless one, not the monster power-corded one.. but you can still do some major damage to your case (and yourself) with it.

He's not a geek, but he's written a review of DX8 on an Athlon system..

Hah! Cnet.com report that people don't care for swoopy funky-looking PC's if they're overpriced and slow.

Hmm, another big news day.. more soon!
