Not going to bother putting "NEW SERVER" messages up anymore. The old server will still say OLD SERVER. Nobody is mailing me to say they're still on the old one though.. which is good.

..unlike the Japanese Playstation2, which is apparently fairly sucky at present.. or at least, the available software is. Maybe they'll have to use it to control cruise missiles after all!

Run out of drive bays? GideonTech have a neat little article on adding extra bays using backing plates as mounts..

Morgan pointed out this water-cooled rig.. check out the copper coiling on the Voodoo5!

A neurologist is suing Motorola because he feels that using a mobile phone gave him a brain tumour..

ExtremeOC have reviewed the GlobalWin FOP-32 socket cooler..

MrBill pointed out an interesting site with X-Box info..

Hmm, seems all is not well with Durons and Golden Orbs, even with the new Duron-approved clip. I've heard a few accounts of them still killing Durons.. for example, this copy from Jon in Brisbane that I was cc'd on, sent to Thermaltake:

Hello

Your products have succesfully destroyed 2 of my Durons. They are both the "approved" Socket A versions of the Golden Orbs and were installed correctly as per the instructions. They do not sit correctly on the rubber feet laid out at the corners of the Durons chips. as a result of this there is one contact point that exists between the CPU and the Orb and very little in the way of support This grinds down the CPU over a period of time and whats more the Fan is impossible to remove.

Your fans are the biggest load of junk I have used for cooling so far and have cost me 400 dollars Australian in 3 days. I would like some reply to this email as soon as possible.

Regards
Jon

Hopefully we'll hear something positive from Thermaltake soon..
