Telstra Announce ADSL Pricing! (0 Comments) (link)
 Monday, 7-August-2000  13:57:35 (GMT +10) - by Agg

A few people sent in the link from News.com.au .. direct link to the story here but here's a little snippage:

The plans available to Telstra home customers include:

$78 a month for flat rate access, limited 256kbps downstream and 64kbps upstream
$89 a month for flat rate access, limited 512kbps downstream and 128kbps upstream
Like Telstra's cable service, business users face volume limits on the new service:

$73 a month for up to 250Mb, limited to 256kbps downstream and 64kbps upstream
$84 a month for up to 500Mb, limited to 512kbps downstream and 128kbps upstream
Customers using another carrier for their regular telephone service would be charged a $16.50 premium.

Subscribers on the minimum three-month contract also face an installation charge of $399. It is reduced to $189 for customers who sign for 18 months.

Apparently Telstra's ADSL Page has been updated, but it looks the same to me..
