News is a little late tonight, been spending some quality time with my GF.. she hardly recognized me. :)

That sound you just heard was an NDA lifting.. AMD announced their 64-bit technology today. Press-release thingy on Electic Tech - an in-depth article here on CPUReview apparently, but I can't get to it at the moment, maybe they've been Slashdotted. Anyway, isn't this AMD's SledgeHammer CPU? Seems they're just calling it Hammer now.. maybe Peter Gabriel sent them a rude letter.
