Apparently that Crucial competition is for US-based readers only. Bah! A few people pointed this out.. some politely, some not so politely. :)

Term, Soc and some of the forum regulars have put together a Top 20 page.. a regular Top 20 list. Today's is Top 20 Reasons why the Russian sub sank .. even we get a mention. :) In all seriousness though, I hope the sea calms soon so they can get those guys out of there and back home safe ASAP.

Yay, Debian 2.2 is out. This is the distribution of Linux that runs on the server that is serving you this page. :) For those who don't know, this server is an Abit BP6 motherboard with 2x Celeron 366 overclocked to 550MHz (of course), with 256MB of RAM. It's been running without a reboot for 53 days now..

There's a new aussie overclocking site, OC Melbourne. Not much there at the moment, but something to keep an eye on..

Iamnotageek have checked out the ATI Radeon 64MB.. challenger to the video card throne.

TechReport have checked out the Detonator3's in Win2K..

Mmmm, Creative have announced their GeForce2 Ultra based card.. definitely high up on my dribble list.

Detonator 6.18, or Detonator 3 as they're being called, are officially out. That link is to our forums, with some people's experiences with the new drivers already listed..

PCMonkey have a review of the Razor Boomslang up. JimX, our resident mouse fetishist, has been writing the Saga Of The Boomslang for quite some time now.. should see it hopefully in the coming weeks. :)

Hmm, interesting thing on Wired today... planning on making a site about how much some company sucks? Here are some legal tips to avoid being thrown in the slammer. Hmm, maybe I better quickly register aggsucks.com..

PCReview have checked out the SL-65JVB-X mobo..

Awwww, Athlon is 1 year old today. Isn't it cute? To celebrate, AMD announced their 1.1GHz Thunderbird.. mmm.

Hmm, Sony laptops (VIAO) won't be using Intel chips no more. AMD and Transmeta only..

PlanetSavage have a review of Diamond's Stealth S540 Extreme.. Savage4 video card.

StorageReview have a 7200RPM IDE HDD roundup..

Overclockers.com have some Water-Coolin' Musings up.. about flow rates and such.

ArenalineVault have a review of ASUS 50X CDROM.. I got one of these months ago in Bangkok, nice and quick but can be a little loud..
