Ok, some of this is from the weekend..

Kurt sent a link to anteresting article on ZDNET about CPU's, AMD and others. It is expected that, between now and early next year, AMD will introduce new clock speeds every five to six weeks. A 1.2GHz Athlon is waiting in the wings, and AMD's publicly stated goal is to hit 1.5GHz early next year.

Dr Damage has a tale of woe involving a savage-chipset video card.. some interesting advice there.

PCCritix.com have reviewed the 16X DVD-ROM drive..

VIAHardware have info on VIA's 2000 roadmap. These things are always "subject to revision" though.. ie, scribbled on a post-it note and thrown out the window every few months.

Hexus have a (very) little info on a new dual FCPGA board from Abit - could this (finally) be the replacement for the BP6? Don't like the sound of the integrated Savage4 video, though..

PCMech reviewed the Quantum Fireball LM Plus..

They also have a mini-rant about high PC service fees.

Hypothermia have more video cards to give away again..

More silly stuff on ZZZ Online .. 3D-ROM, electronic nose, multiuser coffee machine.

A "bug" has been discovered in PGP that can (maybe) let someone's encryption be less secure than they think it is.

JSI Hardware have reviewed the Golden Orb.

More soon..
