Since this morning I've had about 30 emails from frantic people thinking the Big Kahuna is going to be ditched into a dumpster somewhere. Well, it's not. :) I've decided to bring it home again and mod it. I've started a thread for monster case mod suggestions in the forum, give me some inspiration. :)
Morgan pointed out a bunch of interesting stuff on Bjorn3D.. they don't have much in the way of evidence (quoting a mystery "conference call") but if their info is accurate, 3DFX are [a] bailing out of the GFX card business (and only making chipsets, like NVIDIA), looking to OEM makers to produce their boards in future and [c] in enough financial trouble to be considering selling some of their buildings. Hmm.
A couple more case mods have been posted into our forum, firstly VooDoo's HQ08 with LED's, fans and bound cables, then H2GO Flasher's fully enclosed water-cooling system..
Tech-Report have some info on a very cool Car MP3 player..
The ArsMasters have checked out an oddly-named Tablet PC, the Aqcess Qbe Cirrus.
