Clever stuff on HardOCP, doing the promise hack on an on-board controller without ever touching the board.. great lateral thinking here.
Strange story on Wired, about a plutino, or small planet, discovered between Neptune and Pluto. I don't think this is a "10th planet" as such, because the guy says there are dozens of them and this is just the biggest. Hmm, ok.. no mention of it on CNN either.
Also, new PPC upgrade boards for Amiga 1200's and 4000's.. gotta get a new case to fit it into, tho.
Sabretooth pointed out this page on MS's site showing how to enable UDMA/66 on various Intel mobo chipsets under Win2K..
AMD will officially launch the much-anticipated 760 chipset on the 30th of this month.
PCReview.co.uk checked out the Soltek SL-75KV2-X.. SocketA, KT133 mobo with 686B southbridge so native ATA-100.
AthlonMB reviewed the Duron 800MHz..
PCInsight have some info on a new 19.6" LCD Screen.. mind-wobblingly expensive, as you'd expect.
