Dunno if you'll even be able to read this, as many people in the IRC channel are complaining of not being able to reach the OCAU server - but apparently there has been a major failure of one of Australia's major internet links to the rest of the world. This is why you may be having trouble accessing international sites - apparently it is having a logjam effect which is affecting domestic internet access as well.
UPDATE: More info on InsaneHardware. No news of a fix as yet.
