Pac sends word of a fixed beta 1005-003E BIOS, get it here:
Released yesterday as an update to last weeks 'sad' 1005-003D bios. Looks like it fixes lockups using 'Optimal' mode in bios. Comments on the Asus newsgroup seem to be positive but it's early yet. Certainly fixed any problem I had.
Important points:
1. Flashes using dos only.
2. After flash make sure you go straight into BIOS and set to defaults, THEN change to suit yr system.
