Well, this is the big news for today. Rumours of this happening have been flying around for months but it's finally happened (to some extent, depending which side you ask). Do NVIDIA want the technology or is it to avoid the whopping lawsuits 3DFX have against them? Hopefully ATI or another player can keep competition alive in this part of the industry..
