Beta site redesign

Right, I've been working on the site design pretty much all day today, thanks to Dr-R0M, KngtRider and a few others from #overclockers for their help. Thanks of course also to Luke Beales who won the design comp (over a year ago!) with the graphics you see in the top-left of the new page.
Anyway, here's the (early) fruit of my labours:

I know half the page vanishes in Netscape, working on it. The menu doesn't look great, might have a comp for better menu design soon. The menu's not finished, either, and some of the buttons point to the wrong places. Banner location is not great but I might fade the graphics around it to make it look nicer. The default text colour will be lighter. There'll be more stuff, links to old content etc on the page, maybe a random image, but that's the general layout for now.
I don't know how open to suggestions I'll be at this point - firstly because it's nowhere near incorporating all the current ideas/suggestions, but also because I want to get something up and working, and change it later, rather than getting it 100% perfect first go. But anyway. There it is. I hope you think it looks nicer than the current design. :)
I'll put up pics and blurb of the PC show probably Saturday - I'm spending all day there again tomorrow (Friday) so might get more info for the article. Hopefully hook up some review gear and maybe sponsors, too.
