Tuesday Night (0 Comments) (link)
 Tuesday, 20-March-2001  23:13:19 (GMT +10) - by Agg

I noticed today a little trend in OCAU's traffic.. there is a small spike at about 4pm which continues until 5:30 and then tails off.. methinks there are a lot of cube drones out there killing the last hour or so of their day in the forums. :)

I got a fair bit of feedback about the blowhole thing from a couple of days ago, quite a few people have that same case from the sounds of it. Shivan points out his own painted + fanned one.

Poly sends word of this newish IBM supercomputer, once again wanting to be the fastest in the world (is anyone really competing with them in these stakes?) .. to be used for gene research.

CPUReview have announced a homegrown memory benchmark that looks to be quite interesting.

TR did a little research into what's better for stuffing data into your PDA, USB or serial..

Nigel sent in this link to info on FCRAM memory from Fujitsu. I think this is just a fancy name for their DDR SDRAM.. have to be careful how you pronounce it tho.

From the forums via alchemy (thread here) - some interesting silver shims.

This is so bizarre I think I should have sent it to YYK for him to post.. :) Mir, the russian space station, crashes into the ocean in a couple of days time. Taco Bell have said they will give a free taco to everyone in the US if the space station hits a 40x40 foot target they are placing in the middle of the ocean. That's nearly 300 million tacos?! Riiiight. Thanks Andrew..
