Wednesday Morning (0 Comments) (link)

Don't you hate it when you oversleep? Especially by over an hour? The news is going to have to be fairly quick this morning..

A new hardware site has appeared on the scene.. but this one is a little differenet. First of all, its run by a monkey called bob. Second of all, most of the news is delivered in video/divx format. Sounds like it could turn out alright.. but as always, its in the execution. Have a look for yourself.

ViaHardware have a full review-type thing up on the KT266 chipset that I got all excited about a few days ago.. and now, well.. mmm.. I'm more excited.

IQ-Hardware (?) has a water-cooler shootout happening.. seeings I'm in a rush today I don't have time to check if they mean it in terms of cool-your-cpu-down water cooler.. or if they mean stand-around-it-and-blude-at-work type water coolers.. I think its the former, however..

If you are thinking about water cooling, and you're on a bit of a budget - maybe you can take a page out of ArakniD's book and build a ghetto radiator. Looks to me as if its made out of the carton those grolcsh beers came in.. maybe if he stopped drinking such expensive beer he could afford to make something a little more.. conventional?

If you want one of those new GW WK-38 heatsinks, you could do worse than to head over to Overclocker Cafe' and tell them you want to win theirs..

Tweakmax preview an ECS i815EP-based board..

CPUTweak have taken a look at one of those Logitech Marble Cordless Mouse thingo-s.. whatever they are.

I've noticed several random acts of violence and abuse come flying out of Aggs corner in IRC and I think they have something to do with all the emails he's been getting about those fan adaptors. I'll say it again, we do not know where you can get one for yourself.. chainbolt submitted a review of parts he was able to locate in Japan, and we don't know where that was either. Please, people, think of Agg's sanity (and #overclockers saftey) before you hit send.

Scott sends in what I consider to be some terrific (smashing, in fact) news.. the ATI Raedon has dropped in price. Can't find anything official from ATI on this one, but he says he has noticed that about since 3DMark 2001 came out, that they've dropped from about $800 to $550 for the 64Mb VIVO. Thats just absolutley super! I love competition.

Finally, if you want to rate my news, you can head over here and do it in the forums.
