Chainbolt has put some pictures and translated blurb into the forums, about AMD's Palomino launch. This is the new Athlon core. More info on Wired, including stuff about AMD's 64bit Hammer processor. AkibaPC have some info in Japanese here, too.
Meanwhile at the Big Boys Toys Show in Sydney (on now!) we've got Flying Cars.. the Moller Skycar we've seen before, still cool, still expensive. Does anyone else have nightmares of long-haired people opening the canopy with the engines still running..?

No sooner had Mir hit the water than people were selling bits on Ebay. With all the excitement over Mir, I discovered this funky applet that builds a zoomable, rotateable globe showing the current position of more than 500 satellites..
