Hmm, very quiet today. I'm also paranoid about April Fools jokes now, so some of this news may be completely fictitious. :)
Most suspicious is news on Hexus that VIA is being inhaled by AMD. Is this an April Fools joke? Nothing obvious that I can see, except they quote VIA as having a bad year when I thought they were having a fantastic year with the success of their chipset products. Hmm. If it's serious, it's seriously big news, and AMD will massively strengthen their hold on the CPU/chipset market. Update: They have retracted it, surprise surprise. :)
In even more shocking news, BitBoys Bought NVIDIA.. pffft. :)
IPKonfig have info on a tiny peltier.. not sure what it'd really be useful for, tho.
Wow, now this is a hardcore mod.. putting perspex in the top of your HDD. I hope this isn't an April Fools thing too. You'd have to be brave to do it to an expensive new drive, but how cool is that? Thanks Tom!
