VyW have a budget heatsink roundup posted.
Squozen's all excited because Star Office 6.0 Beta is out. This is an Office-type suite (wordprocessor, spreadsheet etc) that runs on Linux, Solaris and Windows. Seems to be gaining a lot of support lately because.. well, mostly because it's not made by Microsoft, I suspect, and of course because it's free. However, it is apparently pretty good in its own right.
Hmm, Asus are having a case mod competition, how cool is that from a vendor.. thanks Funkdafied.
There's an interesting thread/poll in the forums about clean power.. clean as in environmentally friendly, not clean as in high-quality PSU. :)
Raidzero have a pic of a network card that seriously fried itself.. amazingly, the motherboard was fine.
People who complain that the Internet is full of crap lately obviously aren't aware of this online Map of Australian Public Toilets. I had a bit of a cruise around on it and I hope I never have to use that interface when I'm in a rush..
Jeremy notes that the AthlonXP has appeared in Japan. I still hate the name (AthlonXP, not Jeremy). James notice they've appeared on PriceWatch too.. and Jon commented on the warnings in PriceWatch about "1500 does not mean 1.5GHz".
