Adobe have warned of a Buffer overflow vulnerability in their Adobe Reader product. If exploited, it could allow the execution of arbitrary code under the privileges of the local user. Users of Adobe Reader and PDF files should have a read of this article.

On Cnet there is a Create your own podcast instructional page.

" Christopher Smith, who allegedly sent a billion junk e-mails to America Online subscribers, was arrested at a Minneapolis airport after he stepped off a plane from the Dominican Republic." A good thing for us all. My daily spam has reached the point where my email address is Opt-In only. Any sender not on the opt-in list gets redirected straight to the junk bin, which makes email all but useless at times.

AnandTech have posted a roundup of seven nForce4 Ultra Motherboards. If you are planning a new AMD machine or upgrading an older box, then this might be worth a read.

More information and images from NASA's Deep Impact comet collision are available on the NASA website. 10Kms/Sec, now that’s getting a move on.
