Cool new fan technology!

The fan in the picture below looks mostly normal.. but it's a new TMD fan from Y.S.Tech. TMD stands for Tip-Magnetic Driven.. that's right, there's no central hub motor. The fan is driven by motor coils around the circumference of the fan.. an interesting idea and an engineer from Y.S.Tech sent us over some technical data and pictures about it.
