HWSecrets explain Intel's Virtualisation Technology. Formerly known as Vanderpool, this technology enables a CPU to act as if it were several CPUs working in parallel, in order to enable several operating systems to run at the same time in the same machine. They also cover Intel's EM64T 64-bit extensions.

In contrast to some of the bad press it's been receiving lately, Wikipedia is apparently almost as accurate as Encyclopaedia Britannica across a wide range of topics, according to a recent study. The army of 600 volunteer editors were rapidly updating and amending the falsified entries, but the continued assault highlighted flaws in one of the best-loved and most successful websites.
