Jadlak informs us that Wine Ver.2 is out. In case you don't know, wine allows you to play Windows games under Linux.

There is a new program compatability update for WinXP - it seems to fix a lot of problems with games and file sharing utilities - including kazaa, a lot of sim games (sim park / simtunes etc) counterstrike, midtown madness and a lot of EA games (most of their new games are listed.) *humps Yaleman* ... OOOPS! I meant THANKS Yaleman :)

A Japanese supercomputer has recorded the fastest "floating point" calculation speed of any computer on the planet. The feat is reported in the latest edition of the Linpack report, a ranking of supercomputer performance. The Earth Simulator at the Marine Science and Technology Center in Kanagawa, notched up 35.61 teraflops - that is over 35 trillion "floating point" calculations per second! Taa Grant.
