OCAU News |
April was another record month for OCAU. I had the goal of 5.5M pages in mind but we sent no less than 5,870,781 pages out! This is very healthy growth, up from 5.05M in March and 4.6M in February.
It was quite a big month for new content - we had the following reviews and articles posted:
IBM 75GXP Anatomy article.
A4Tech Wireless Optical 3DMouse review.
Asus V8460 Ultra GF4 Ti4600-based video card review.
Soltel SL-85DRS2 SiS645-based P4 DDR motherboard review.
Quake3 Slayer Demo for standard benchmarking.
nVidia overclocking with CoolBits how-to guide.
Sony CRX1600LEK i.Link/FireWire CDRW drive review.
Wacom Graphire 2 graphics tablet review.
Everglide Gaming Mat review.
Andrea NC-1212 Gamer Pro headset review.
The PCDB had a record month of its own, serving 319,562 pages. Some highlights featured on the news page:
Straylight's massive perspex watercooled box.
NHD's amplifier PC.
heaDrOOMx's.. uhhm.. indescribable PC. :)
BlueSmurf's GTRPC, sadly featured because it was stolen. :(
BlackIce's briefcase PC.
Volenti's amazing waterfall-onto-components machine.
So, thanks to all of you for coming back and checking the site out - glad you enjoy it! Many thanks to the various readers and admins who have submitted articles or reviews for posting on OCAU during the month, too. Of course, thanks to AusGamers for hosting us and last but certainly not least, thanks to our major sponsors ComputerAlliance and Altech Computers for keeping the wheels oiled around here.
I should also note that we now have a third Major Sponsor! This month Plus Corporation are also helping out. They used to be known as Peripherals Plus and are a retailer based in Sydney. Great to have you on board. :)
