Quite a few guys (disappointingly no ladies) from the forums have decided to grow a moustache to help raise money for men's health. Why are we doing this?- Depression affects 1 in 6 men...Most don't seek help. Untreated depression is a leading risk factor for suicide.
- Last year in Australia 18,700 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 2,900 died of prostate cancer - equivalent to the number of women who die from breast cancer annually.
- Men generally live less healthy lives than women. The average life expectancy of males is 5 years less than females.
There is still time to sign up on the website so you can participate, or you can get involved in the forum thread. If all goes to plan there will be a video in that thread of somebody waxing my mo at the end of the month!
Agg edit: I'd love to be involved, but you have to start without any facial hair obviously, and facial hair is not optional in my family. :)
