Kaan passed on this message from a mailing list: I've got hold of a copy of the DirectX 9 SDK beta. It comes with the interesting warning: This beta version expires on Aug 20, 2002. You will need to reinstall Windows if you do not have a valid DX9 ID & password to download Beta 2.

in its alpha stages atm though, but can be worth a look. I had no idea what he was talking about either, until I read the page.. Samurize is an system monitoring application for Win2k/WinXp, that can display information about your system right on your desktop, and uses almost no memory! Ah-ha.

Xbit looked at the HPT RocketRaid 133 ATA133 RAID Controller.. we checked this out a few months ago now in our Raid0 Shootout with ATA100 and ATA133. While we're on ATA133, Hardware-TestDK reviewed a Maxtor D740X-6L ATA133 HDD, which we covered in our more recent High-End HDD Shootout.
Ages ago we linked some instructions on Yamaha's website to make a model YZF-R1 sportbike from paper. Smash3d sent word that Othy has made one and there's pics in that thread. Nice job, but you have way too much free time. :)
