Chainbolt has taken a detailed look at Intel's Penryn processor family, concentrating on the QX9650 CPU. These are lead-free quad-core CPUs based on the 45nm "Yorkfield" architecture, with 2x6MB L2 cache, SSE4 and a swathe of other features and tweaks.
