What else do you do when you have to be up for work in 4 hours... post news!

Germany's Government has gone Open Source. "THE German Government said it had agreed with computer maker IBM to increase the use of open-source software on its computers, a move aimed at reducing dependence on US software giant Microsoft."

Hackers have responded in large numbers to an appeal from the director of a culture center and literary museum on the west coast of Norway. The password to one of their library archive systems is missing. On that note, A Hacker was charging $5 a pop to change grades on school computers.

A warning has been issued to update your BlackICE firewall if you run one. In a default installation, The BlackICE Agent might not reactivate when the host returns from standby.
