Vulkanyaz is organising another online users record attempt in the forums tonight. So, at around 8:30pm ADST, if you remember, jump in and be counted. If you notice things slowing down a bit around then, that's why. :)
These tests do actually have a useful function, which is that I can observe the servers during this extreme load and work out what optimisations or changes would help us sustain that kind of load in future. I've made some configuration changes since the last time and it'll be interesting to see how things go.
