Hans Reiser has apparently led police to the location of his wife's body. Reiser, known in programming circles for his ReiserFS file system company, testified for 10 days during his trial during which he was scolded by the judge for giving often-rambling answers and for arguing with the prosecutor. Teddybear spotted this related Wiki page.
A judge recently ordered YouTube to turn over all user histories to Viacom. Viacom wants the data to prove that infringing material is more popular than user-created videos, which could be used to increase Google's liability if it is found guilty of contributory infringement. We may not yet have flying cars, but perhaps we can have contact lens displays soon. Parviz argues that ironically, the current display sizes in mobile computers and phones hinder rather than help miniaturisation. "The display size is one of the main reasons that laptops, cellphones, PDAs, etc are not smaller today. If we move the display to a contact lens, we can significantly remove the physical constraints on mobile devices."

I couldn't find an official message, but a few places including this blog note that AVG are issuing a patch today, to stop the "fake traffic" issue we mentioned earlier.
