Tech ARP have just published a guide to overclocking NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 260 graphics cards. Only the factory-overclocking of the ASUS ENGTX260 TOP allowed it to achieve a rough parity in performance with the Radeon HD 4870. Fortunately, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 is pretty overclockable. Best of all, NVIDIA provided all the necessary tools for easy overclocking, with complete access to core and memory clocks as well as fan speed.
The Tech Report gathered 20 netbooks to compare features, performance and portability, and share their picks for the best netbooks on the market. The number of netbook flavors available is simply staggering, and although the underlying hardware of many of these units is similar, key differences distinguish each one from its peers.

If you're using Windows Home Server's built-in firewall and have made the mistake of using the "Restore Defaults" option, this guide will get you back in business. If you open the options for the Windows Firewall on your Windows Home Server, there is an advanced tab with an option to "Restore Defaults." I figured this would restore the Firewall to the state it ships with Windows Home Server. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case; it restores the Firewall to a BLANK state, losing all the necessary exceptions for WHS to function properly.
The World Science Fiction Convention will be held at the Melbourne Convention Centre in 2010.
