Samsung's started making 16gb DDR3 modules, so perhaps now my dreams of a 64gb ramdisk are a little closer to fruition.
Just as I was thinking about upgrading from cable to ADSL2 it looks like Japan's one-upped us all again and are set to get synchronous 1Gb/s broadband to homes, more info here, discussion here.
