So, there's photos of the upcoming Star Trek movie full of young trendy actors. Oh god, I'm a huge Star Trek fan and this just looks like a Saturday Night Live sketch not an actual movie.. but I hope to be pleasantly surprised..
BigPond customers can apparently look forward to 10 minutes of computerised-voice support, before being transferred to someone in the Philippines. The outsourced provider of BigPond's tech support, TeleTech, has advised a large proportion of its Australian workforce that they will no longer be required, as BigPond's call centres will be moving to the lower labour-cost country by 1st February 2009.
IntelInside spotted some tiny Australian PCs taking on the giants. A husband and wife team from the Sunshine Coast are preparing for all out war with the likes of Dell and HP in the burgeoning market for low-cost PCs.
