IntelInside sends word that there may be in-game psychiatrists in WoW soon. World of Warcraft is so addictive that a psychiatrist is planning to send a team of counsellors into the game to treat players before they lose touch with the real world. I predict them getting killed a lot. :)

Tech Report take a look at Win7 from a desktop user's perspective. Does Windows 7 really live up to the hype? Is it a worthwhile upgrade over Vista and XP for desktop users and enthusiasts? We took the final release of Microsoft's next operating system for a prolonged spin in order to find out.

HotHardware have a little LN2 Core i7 action. While we are used to seeing processors operate in air-cooled settings of around 40'C, the use of LN2 will allow us to push clock speeds all the way down in the -80'C range in order to unlock the overclocking capabilities of both the motherboard and CPU. We paired a Core i7 975 processor with the EVGA X58 Classified motherboard to find out just how far we can go with the X58 platform and Intel's current flagship CPU.

HWZone have a three-way AMD 785G roundup. The heir to the popular mainstream AMD 780G chipset, the 785G has arrived but it appears to have kept with the status quo. Can these three new motherboards from ASUS, ECS and Gigabyte convince us otherwise? We take these boards for a spin in our lab and paint the results for you.

In Hornsby, somebody reacted to excess traffic in their street by putting up a fake "no left turn" sign which was so convincing even the Police believed it. Police said about 200 motorists were pinged over a three-month period, each of them fined $175. Police urged all drivers fined for disobeying the sign to call the State Debt Recovery Office.

HardOCP have a Core i5 Performance Preview, as well as an overclocking preview of the platform. Our first preview of our Intel Core i5 processor that we purchased online last week. We put the 2.66GHz Core i5 model 750 through some overclocking paces to show you what can be achieved easily with an enthusiast air cooler.

Twitter seems to be a convenient way for botnets to communicate. While digging around I found a botnet that uses Twitter as its command and control structure. Basically what it does is use the status messages to send out new links to contact, then these contain new commands or executables to download and run. It’s an infostealer operation.
