Discussion here.

Thousands of Star Wars fans have combined forces, each creating a 15-second scene which will be joined together into a giant fan film. Of those, 473 scenes were collated into remaking the entire full-length feature, which will premiere at the CPH:PIX festival in Copenhagen on Monday night. The result is a mind-bending mix of hilarious, cringe-inducing, mystifying animation and live action, all done with the approval of Lucasfilm and featuring the original John Williams score. There's a 15-minute trailer here.
