Leeches can rejoice, as there's a battle of the giant allowances underway. Internet providers iiNet and Primus appear to be locked in a battle to offer the largest download limit on the market. iiNet yesterday announced it would be the first provider in Australia to offer a download limit of one terabyte (1TB), or one thousand gigabytes (GB).

I can't decide if this is a hoax or not, but here's a case with monster cooling from Thermalright. Hugely impractical and I can't see anything on their website, so at best it's a demonstrator for trade shows etc. Still, worth a look.

SilentPCReview tortured a few fanless PSUs. A roundup torture test of samples from every fanless power supply line in the marketplace instigated by the Seasonic X-400 Fanless, which cruised through 15 hours of full-load operation at nearly 60°C temperature in the "case". Which fanless PSUs can actually deliver rated power with virtually no forced airflow?

NASA are holding a contest to decide which songs to play to wake up the Astronauts on the final two Shuttle missions. The wakeup song has been a part of the space program since the days of the Apollo missions, and now NASA is giving you two chances to be a part of this history! We need your help selecting wakeup songs to be played during the final missions of the Space Shuttle Program!

A few people sent in the Taiwanese news animation version of our election leadup. Although polls show Abbott way ahead of Gillard, the Labor/Green party coalition still has more support when counted together. 'Crocodile Harry' has predicted a Labor victory. This is the closest election in Australia in 50 years.

There's a lot of chatter about the PS3 being hacked to allow games to be played without the disks. More here and here, although people are still waiting to fully verify if this is real.

If you're a fan of Kari Byron of MythBusters fame, you'll be happy to hear she is presenting a new show called "Head Rush". Premiering on Monday, the commercial-free "Head Rush" will air each weekday on the Science Channel and give Byron the chance to spin the magic that has made her so popular on "MythBusters" in the hopes of showing kids that science is exciting and worth a whole lot of their time.

GamePron report on antidepressants treating game addiction. Recent research from Korea has shown that a common anti-depressant, Bupropion (sold as Welbutrin, Zyban and Voxra) can “decrease craving for Internet game play” as well as the brain activity triggered by video game cues. This is a drug often used to help quit smoking, to lose weight or to recover from drug addiction, in addition to typical anti-depressant and anti-anxiety uses.

Here's an odd one from HyRax1: Some people have way too much time on their hands to discover this stuff, but what a result! Justin Bieber slowed down 800%, Portal Song slowed down 800%. This may be the only way I could actually ENJOY a single Justin Bieber track (all 30 minutes of it), but the Portal Song still sounds way better. :) Both songs were slowed down using PaulStretch, an open source sound-stretching tool.
