JC sent word that Senator Kate Lundy has spoken to the Senate about the need for an R18+ games classification in Australia. I rise today to advocate for the introduction of an R18+ games classification to Australia in my capacity as Senator for the ACT. This is not a decision to be made by the Government. Rather, it is a decision that requires agreement among the Federal and State Attorneys General around the nation. More info here on Facebook.

There's a sad day in Australian aviation coming up, with the RAAF's Official F-111 Retirement events. The retirement of the Royal Australian Air Force F-111 fleet on 3 December 2010 will mark a significant milestone in the history of military aviation in Australia. We are delighted to be able to showcase and celebrate the life and service of the F-111 aircraft through Pigs' Tales, the official F-111 retirement ceremonies.

Crytek have announced a new game called Warface. Warface will use Crytek's proprietary graphics engine CryEngine 3 and will be a PC exclusive multiplayer shooter. Co-op missions will also be a key feature, though there's no mention of any singleplayer content. Interestingly, Crytek will release Warface as a free-to-play shooter and is looking to target the Korean and Asian markets specifically.

Paul sent in this 630hp V8 skateboard to be ridden by Tony Hawk at an upcoming V8 Supercars round. Tony Hawk is coming out to Sydney for the Telstra 500. Which made us wonder, what happens when you attach a V8 engine to a skateboard? There was only one way to find out.
